फ्रेजल भर्ब (phrasal verb) भनेको एउटा क्रिया र up, out वा off जस्तो सानो शब्द मिलेर बनेको नयाँ अर्थ हो: give up को अर्थ प्रयास छोड्नु, र look after को अर्थ हेरचाह गर्नु हो। तल क्रियाअनुसार समूहमा राखिएका १५६ प्रचलित अङ्ग्रेजी फ्रेजल भर्ब छन्, सजिला अर्थ र सिक्न मिल्ने उदाहरण वाक्यसहित।

छुट्टिने कि नछुट्टिने: कर्म कहाँ आउँछ?

केही फ्रेजल भर्बमा कर्म (object) क्रिया र पार्टिकलको बीचमा आउन सक्छ: “turn off the light” वा “turn the light off”। यस्तालाई छुट्टिने (separable) फ्रेजल भर्ब भनिन्छ। कर्म सर्वनाम हो भने त्यो बीचमै आउनुपर्छ: “turn it off”, कहिल्यै “turn off it” होइन।

अरू फ्रेजल भर्ब छुट्टिँदैनन् (inseparable): कर्म सधैं पार्टिकलपछि आउँछ, जस्तै “look after the kids” वा “get over a cold” मा।
